Ronald Chester Deschwanden

October 21, 1951  ~  September 5, 2010

Ron was born October 3, 1951 to Donald and Margaret Deschwanden in Bakersfield, Ca. He is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter Stacey, "The Sunshine of his life"; son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Marlene Meagher;son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Lynette Meagher; his mother, Margaret Deschwanden; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ron Davis; sisterand brother-in-law, Bobbie and Larry Snow; sister Pam Rosenthal; many nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends too numerous to mention.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Deschwanden. Ron was born and raised in Bakersfield CA and attended West High School. Ron enjoyed playing cards at the Golden West Casino and playing pool.Ron was a wonderful husband and father. He was always joking and kidding around, he had a greatpersonality. Ron worked many years at Dresser Atlas and Kern Body Works. A very special thank you to Maria Rosalez with Mercy Hospice. for all your compassion and love you gave "Mr.D."  There will be a Celebration of Life on October 3rd.
