Jeannie Lawson Conner

Jeannie Conner passed away  on January 20, 2007. She was born in Bakersfield California, March 17, 1952. Jeannie was born with scoliosis and had to have surgery when she was a baby. She was always a fighter and deified the odds throughout her life. Her disability never stopped her from doing everything she wanted. to do, including giving birth to two healthy children. Jeannie started a successful business out of her home while raising her children. She formed a strong business relationship at that time with the Chain Younger Law Firm. and eventually took a job working under Milton Younger.  Jeannie served both a secretary and vice president for the Kern County Paralegal Association. Jeannie has many interests and hobbies. She loved watching professional tennis and saw several live matches with her daughter. She loved going on trips to Laughlin with her mother. She brought laughter, light and love to not only her family, but countless others. Jeannie had a strong will and spirit, she was passionate about life and kept her sense of humor even in her final days. Jeannie is survived by her mother Dottie Hinds, her daughter Michelle, her son Michael and wife Jennifer., And her precious granddaughter, the light of her life. Jaidyn Conner. A memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel.

Wow! I grew up down the street from Jeannie Lawson in elementary school. This is shocking.
