Danny Tony Garcia

July 31, 1952  ~  April 25, 2017

Danny, 64 years young, residing in Bakersfield, CA met his Lord and Savior Jesus, on April 25,2017.  He will now be watching over us with his father Albino Garcia.  He was a loving son to his mother, Vivian Garcia, proud father to his daughter Danielle and son Paul,  especially proud of his grandchildren Zoe Jane and Reid Alexander.  Brother Tom and sister in law Annie, Mike Garcia, he was a big brother to his sister Josie Martin, sister Cecilia and brother in law Randy Brown and youngest sister Charlotte Kidd.  Danny had many relatives, godchild, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lets not forget his ever so faithful companion and best friend Oreo.

Danny a long time hari dresser, had a loud personality and a tender yet courageous heart.  He lived with intention to do good for others, and he gave to those who had less.  His home was a place where many came to find a delicious meal, friendly conversation and most likly advice and inspiration.  His laughter filled a room and his passion and perserverance was never ending. Despite his health issues, his love for Jesus grew stronger.  Danny was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Eagles Lounge, 1718 17th Street, Bakersfield, CA. from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A Memorial service will be held at a later date
