Happy birthday Tim!! 73? No worries as it’s the new 53!?? Right??? That’s what we say in Oregon.
Dear Virgie. She was my best childhood buddy and playmate. She lived around the corner from me growing up. When I was 7 years old Virg and her family helped get me through my parents' divorce. She was like a sister to me. After high school and I moved to Oregon I would always visit and have lunch with her whenever I came to Bakersfield to see my parents. No matter how long between visits it was like no time had passed at all. I will truly miss my dear childhood friend. She was a gem.
Happy birthday dear friend. I’m so glad it was a wonderful day for you.
What a nice guy. Need more people like him. Although I haven't talked to him in years I doubt he changed from the sweet person he was in school. I'll miss him and my condolences go out to his family.
Henry Happy Birthday my friend. Don't get too crazy today, you have many more to come.
Have a great birthday Katie! Sorry this wish is late in coming.
Geoff and I spent many hours hanging together after school during our senior year, either at his house in Stockdale or hitting Foster's Freeze or McDonald's for a (brand new!) Big Mac. He was a very bright guy and lots of fun.
This pic was taken in 1994 when I visited Bako and saw him (doing his best Sean Connery imitation) and his family. Fellow friend and WHS alum Lou Whitfield joined us.
So sorry to see another classmate pass. RIP Chris

Happy Birthday Tim. Hope this year brings you good health and a lot of fun!!!
Happy birthday, my friend! Hope you have a great day!
I was just reading her autograph in the 1967 yearbook. We gave her the nickname of Blumenkind, which is how she signed. She was great, even during her high school days, I'm very sorry she is gone.

Hi Everyone. Wanter to let you know Karen and I will not be attending the upcoming reunion - but maybe that's a good thing. But I will miss seeing all those faces and trying to remember who's who. My memory was not very good back then and is not any better now, if not slightly worse.
My wife Karen and I are doing well and in good health. We are living in Sedona Arizona in the fall-winter and in Pagosa Springs Colorado in the spring-summer. We keep very busy with our horses and pets and enjoying the beautiful scenery on both Sedona and Pagosa Springs.
Best to everyone in the class of '70.
West High Rocks,
Randy
