Joe Wade Vaughn

August 26, 1952  ~  July 28, 2007

Joe Wade Vaughn passed away after a battle with cancer on July 28, 2007.  He was born in Bakersfield, CA on August 26, 1952. The youngest child of Wayne and Evelyn Vaughn. He attended West High School. Built a beautiful home in Grover Beach and was living there until he became very ill and had to come home to Bakersfield to be with family. Joe was precedded in death by his mother in 1985 and his father in 2001. He is survived by his children, son, Joe was a trooper right to the end. He love to tease people and had a very strong love for his children and the rest of his family. He also love to travel, dance, play pool and go to Las Vegas. When the trips to Las Vegas begin to be too much for him he started going to the local Indian casinos and always went home a winner ! He was a handsome man and always wore his cowboy boots. Joe started his career as a Carpender then had his own crew and later became a licensed building contractor. Joe was a wonderful father and brother. Joe was preceded in death by his mother in 1985 and his father in 2001. He is survived by his children son,  Jeremy Wade Vaughn; daughters Ashley Periera and Terra Moore. His funeral was planned for Tuesday July 31st at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary
